The head instructor and owner of Renzo Gracie Houston. Retired after 20 years as Active Duty Soldier in the Army. Brian has been instructing since 2008. He was the BJJ coach for 5th SFG(A) from 2008-2014. Brian was also attached to the 160th SOAR(A) from 2008-2014, with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Professor Brian received his Black Belt from Master Carlos Gracie Jr. in 2011 and his 1st Degree from Professor Vinicius "Draculino" Magalhaes in 2014.
Jordan grew up in NY and started training in martial arts at 17 with his brother- in-law. Earned his first Black belt in American Kempo at 21. He then started training in BJJ/MMA and was awarded his BJJ blackbelt in 2010. Jordan has an extensive fight career in MMA and became certified in Muay Thai Kick Boxing and Boxing. Jordan also enjoys training gymnastics and bodyweight exercises for BJJ/MMA. Amongst his many accolades, Jordan has won: International Fighting Championships middleweight tournament champion in Montreal 1999 (2 fights in the same night). Extreme Challenge 24 lightweight tournament champion (Salt Lake City)(2 fights same night). 2x NAGA lightweight Superfight champion. Besides martial arts, Jordan has a passion for music. He plays guitar and violin and teaches guitar and music theory.
Tony Moenich started wrestling at the age of 5 in north eastern Ohio and wrestled through high school. He started practicing martial arts in 1998 and trained until he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2003. He served 9 years as a Scout Sniper Team Leader, Chief Scout and SSBC Instructor. In between multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Tony practiced Jiu Jitsu and fought MMA. He also trained and coached fellow marines/sailors that were persuing professional fighting careers. For the last 6 years Tony has focused his attention on Jiu Jitsu, strength and conditioning, and nutrition. Tony enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids when he is not training.
